History of the Czech(oslovakian) reenacting

The goal of this thesis is to do research , as wide as possible, in the most popular part of hobby named reenacting or reenacting (Napoleonic era, Austro-Prussian Wars, American Civil War, Second World War and some new topic - Czechoslovak Peoples Army, Royal Air Force and Czechoslovak Policemen before WW2). Thats mean commemoration and re-enactment of military history and military units in whole its history from time before 1989 to the future. I tried to find grounds of this hobby and describe development of it. As I expected, progress of this hobby or movement is larger, but this hobby existed before 1989 too. Reenactors reenacted and portrayed older conflicts as Napoleonic and Austro-Prussian war. Future reenactors were mainly fencers and tramps. Year 1989 was turning point for all reenactors. Theirs hobby is legal, it is possible to travel, to unite, to ground living history groups, own weapons, speak about all part of our history. It was possible to share and search information, regulation with and in foreign countries, foreigners and archives and museums. Main goal of reenactors is to portray theirs archetypes as good as possible. Public can see not only reconstruction of battles, but open air exhibition - "very interactive museums". End of War World II in Polička

The aim of the bachelor work "The End of War World II in Polička" is to describe the period of the first half of the year 1945 in Polička from the thematic and chronological point of view with the use of selected historical methods. The first part of the work concentrates on the events till May 1945, its second part on the stay of Soviet troops and the town command of the Czechoslovak Army in Polička. The final part deals with persons who were tried by the Extraordinary People's Court, speaks about Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev stay in Polička and the transfer of Germans from the town.
Jews in The Red Army

In the first chapter will be described a history of Jews in The Russian Empire and Soviet Union. We need this chapter to understand that a question of Jews in a Russian army is a very special phenomenon and this part of thesis helps us to understand demographical, political and economical situation of certain period. In additional, on the base of these dates we could predict procentual ratio of Jews in the Red army and understand that Jews were not a single and specific occurrence but had a spread character. Second chapter is about Russian army and about its creation, goals and this chapter will answer the question why it appeared. The main aspect of this part will be concentrated on The Red Army as the special phenomenon. Further, there will be an attempt to analyze decrees and laws, which were published in the period from 1917 to 1945. The last chapter summarizes knowledges of previous two chapters. This chapter has a scientific approach to the problem of Jews in the Russian Army. There are given certain facts, names and surnames. Also, a great attention is paid for question of antisemtismus inside of The Red army and partisan groups.
The End of the War, Litoměřice in 1945

This master's thesis focuses on year 1945 and events in Litoměřice town. Especially events in the town itself in spring the same year, upcoming revolt in the nearby village Žitenice, situation both the German and the Czech population, their reaction to the forthcomig end of the war and last efforts of occupiers to hold the town. There will be briefly mentioned also the history of the Nazi occupation of Litoměřice. Special attention will be paid to the concentration camp Litoměřice. Here I will build on my previous barchelor thesis, in which I mentioned the liberation of the concentration camp in one chapter. I will complete and extend aforementioned events. Attention will be paid, among other things, also to the way how the end of the war enrolled to lives of prisoners themselves. I will try to reconstruct all from archival materials and literature and mainly from memories of civilians and prisoners of the concentration camp in a similar way as in my previous bachelor thesis.
Second World War in Nove Mesto nad Metuji

The thesis " The Second World War in Nove Mesto nad Metuji" puts the main focus on years 1935-1945. The largem space is devoted to the Second World War and Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The text is divided into fourteen chapters, each chapter describes a separate topic. There information about prewar conditions, war situation, economy or culture. The emphasis is on resistance in Nove Mesto nad Metuji and victims. The thesis describes also coexistence od Czechs, Jews and Germans.

Red Army from 1936 untill 1941: a technical and historical development

(in English): The aim of the work is the analysis of the modernization processes in the RKKA between 1936-1945. The emphasis is on the analysis of the development in two lines: the gradual modernization and the consequences of purges and armed conflicts in which the Red Army participated at the end of the 1930s. I also deal with the ideology, military and civil propaganda, reforms, equipment, arms and implementation of the new knowledge into praxis.
